Jordan became an equipped grant writer and with his team, applied for the Broadway Jr. Grant, through the Shubert Foundation and Musical Theater International. Of the selection of shows, Willy Wonka was chosen for its light tonal nature. The goal was to bring life and joy back to our school community after the darkness of the pandemic.

We spared no expense to create a spectacle that would build more investment in the arts at our school. Carried by an immaculate performance as Willy Wonka, fun choreography and dazzling imagery, this project’s success played a role in Jordan’s nomination for The Flag Award for Teaching Excellence, or which he won second place.

Summary: We all know it!
